Lorena Rojas, Mexican actress and singer dies at age 44 after loosing battle to Liver Cancer. Surrounded by her loving family and boyfriend, she said her last words earlier today, Monday February 16th in her Miami residence.
She was first diagnosed with initial stages of Breast Cancer in 2008, a successful treatment that left a hopeful future and positive attitude. It wasn’t until December of 2014 that she was again diagnosed with cancer but this time in the Liver with metastasis in her bones.
Rojas leaves behind a successful career and artistic trajectory. She was best known for her participation and supporting role in “Alcanzar Una Estrella” the popular international Telenovela. As an actress she played in sixteen Telenovelas, five movie roles, two TV series and two theater roles. In 2001, she debut her album with the song, “Como Yo No Hay Ninguna” that helped her launch two additional albums –“Directo al Corazon” in 2014 and her dream disc “Hijos del Sol” in 2015 inspired by her daughter Luciana whom she adopted in 2014.
