Fleriser Bello is the Founder and CEO of Bellas Fashionistas. She obtained a B.A. in Film and Media Studies from CUNY Hunter College in NYC. Fleriser has worked in the entertainment, fashion and event industries for over 15 years in several capacities. She has produced and coordinated lavish events and fashion shows, provided fashion styling services to TV and radio personalities, and created marketing campaigns for various media corporation companies. Bellas Fashionistas is a way of correcting, what Fleriser noticed, which was the misrepresentation of Latina women in beauty and fashion industry.
Karen Rosario, originally from the Dominican Republic, she obtained a degree in Architecture from La Universidad Autónoma de Santo Domingo (UASD) and a Masters degree with Double Titration in Interior Design from La Universidad Da Coruña (Spain) and La Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra (Dominican Republic). In 2012, Karen moved to the USA where she successfully have been working in her field as a Project manager , Assistant Interior Designer, Architectural Assistant, Project Manager in the New York City Department of Design and Construction and and currently she works as an Architect for an Architectural firm. Her tenancy in the field has led her to have . A talented and creative force, Karen is always identifying ways to share with others her ideas, passion for fashion, beauty and photography. These skill sets and entrepreneurial spirits have led her to become Bellas Fashionistas Illustrator and Graphic designer and contributing writer.
C. Miriam Pascual, is the Founder of Mujer a group that fosters assistance to single mothers and young women to thrive in reaching their full potentials. With over 20 years of experience reporting to C-level in the financial industry, Miriam has strive to arrange and manage the lives of the executives she supports, at times a very thin line between the professional and the personal lives meets. In every position she has met and assisted young ladies achieve their professional goal, Miriam’s work legacy has been the pride in extending her hand to young co-workers throughout her career as an assistant. She takes extreme pleasure in working with young ladies that are eager to strive and achieve. For over six-years, she has chosen to work closely with other women in effort to motivate and empower them to be the very best they can be at any stage of their life.
Jamilex Mejia is an afrolatina of Dominican Republic descent who was born and raised in the Bronx. She recently graduated from Lehman College with a B.A. in Speech Language Pathology and is currently pursuing her dreams of becoming a bilingual speech language Therapist at Yeshiva University. With hard work and dedication, she continues to work at speech and language Pathology center while taking full-time classes for her M.A.. As she continues to pursue her career path, Jamilex desires to give back to young latinas just like her. Through her experiences and knowledge, she aspires to demonstrate that not matter where you come from or where you are now, anything and everything is possible.
